Vine & Co. Sourdough is more than just a bakery—it’s a story of tradition, community, and the pursuit of wholesome, handmade food. Originally founded in Waxahachie, TX, we’ve grown from a cozy cottage bakery to a full-scale commercial kitchen in Midlothian, TX, now proudly serving Ellis County and the greater DFW area. Our journey began with a simple mission: to create bread that nourishes not only the body but also the soul. Using age-old techniques, wild yeast, and high-quality ingredients, we craft every loaf with care and intention, honoring the time and patience that sourdough requires.
But bread is just the beginning. We’re passionate about connecting with our community, whether it’s through offering fresh-baked goods at local markets, teaching hands-on workshops, or inspiring others to embark on their own sourdough journeys. At Vine & Co. Sourdough, we believe that great bread brings people together—and we’re thrilled to share that joy with you.
It's truly a privilege to share my passion for baking with you! I'm the baker and owner behind Vine & Co. Sourdough. What began as a simple hobby during my newlywed days has blossomed into a thriving bakery and beloved small business. Whether you’re a newcomer or a longtime follower of my sourdough journey, I’m truly grateful for your support.
First and foremost, my faith in Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of my life. It's through Him that I've experienced true transformation and purpose.
The name Vine & Co. Sourdough holds deep significance for me, inspired by my favorite Bible verse: "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." -John 15:5
Though I hail from Georgia, I grew up in the vibrant city of Houston, TX. My husband and I have since made our home in Waxahachie, TX, where we're actively involved in our local church. Together, we lead weekly young adult life groups & serve in youth ministry, witnessing firsthand the incredible power of God through community and discipleship.
Since January 2024, I've had the joy of running Vine & Co. Sourdough full-time. Along the way, I've formed lasting friendships and developed an even deeper affection for our charming town. Your unwavering support and love mean the world to me, and I'm profoundly grateful for each and every one of you who has joined us on this journey.
